Sample day · day 6 of 21

A low-energy Tuesday, written out in full.

This is one complete day from a personalised InnerPath path, shown exactly as it appears in the app. The person is fictional — a composite built from typical intake answers — but the structure, timing and wording are the real thing.

Day 6 — Less, on purpose

Yesterday was marked as too much, so today is deliberately smaller: nineteen minutes in total, nothing that asks for decisions.

  1. Awareness4 min

    1. Four minutes of paced breathing, sitting down

Sit somewhere with a back to lean on. Breathe in for four counts, out for six, and let the pacer on the screen set the rhythm — you don't have to count. When your attention wanders, you've done nothing wrong; come back on the next out-breath. Four minutes, not ten, because yesterday was heavy.

  2. Body8 min

    2. An eight-minute walk, phone left at home

Out the door, four minutes in one direction, then turn around. Leave the phone at home rather than in your pocket — nothing to check, nothing to answer. Walk slower than feels natural. The point is not exercise; it is being outside without a screen between you and the evening.

  3. Real life2 min

    3. Send one message you've been putting off

One person, one message, two sentences is enough: “Been thinking of you — how are things?” No call, no arrangement to make. Low-energy days are the wrong moment for big social plans and the right moment for a small thread kept alive.

  4. Reflection5 min

    4. Write four lines before you go to bed

Three prompts appear: what drained you today, what took the least effort, and one thing you're not carrying into tomorrow. Four lines is plenty. This is also where you score the day out of five and say whether it was too much, about right, or could take more — which is what tomorrow gets written from.

Why this day looks like this

The intake said low energy, evenings, twenty minutes, new to this. So the awareness practice is a guided pacer rather than silent sitting, the movement is a walk rather than a sequence, and the social step is a message rather than a meeting. Then day 5 came back as “too much” with a mood of 2, and the whole day was cut by a third rather than swapped for something new — the rhythm stays recognisable even when the size changes.

What happens tomorrow

If day 6 comes back as “about right”, day 7 stays at this size and adds a milestone review of the first week. If it's still too much, the breathing drops to two minutes and the real-life step becomes something done alone. If the reflection keeps returning to sleep, the following evenings start moving earlier in the day.

Your day would read differently.

This day was written for one set of answers. Yours takes about three minutes to produce, and day 1 is free.
